The Effect of Police Officers’ Gardening Activity Level, Plant Preferences, and Key Variables on Resilience

Background and objective: This study examines the effect of gardening activity level, plant preference, key variables police officers on resilience.Methods: A total 105 male female respondents with an average age 40.6 ± 9.3 were surveyed analyzed.Results: Respondents older age, higher education, monthly income, longer period service tended to show means level. Among three factors resilience (control, sociability, positivity), control was in graduate school group than other groups, showing statistical significance. <i>Tulipa</i> spp. <i>Narcissus</i> showed highest preferences among 8 cultivars flowering plants, followed by <i>Iris</i> spp., <i>Dahlia</i> <i>Allium giantium, Eustoma grandiflourm, Zantedeschia</i> > <i>Lilium</i> Oriental Hybrids. And, as a result examining for 6 colors, yellow green preferred most, white, blue, orange, then red, The positive correlation multidimensional calling, job satisfaction, preferences, negative stress level burnout, Regression analysis conducted determine cultivar color calling measure, demographic (control variables) resilience. results that burnout had greatest impact this suggest it will be possible increase severe trauma using mostly plants when forming gardens streets or workplaces officers, also spring.Conclusion: natural environment through application occupational could improve quality life relieve stress.
